Scientific conferences

Scientific conferences make it possible for scientists, developers and engineers to present and discuss their work and knowledge. Scientific conferences constitute a significant opportunity for communication between researchers. Two scientific conferences in the applied robotics sector will be organised within the framework of the project.

The call for papers is especially (but not exclusively) directed at academics from the Vienna-Bratislava region. The scientific contributions will be published as Conference Proceedings.

Robotic Sailing

This conference will be held in Breitenbrunn on Lake Neusiedl from 23-24 May 2008, at the same time as the Robotic Sailing World Championships (step 5.1). The call for papers is directed at researchers, users, and students worldwide and covers the following topics from sailing robotics:

Robotics in Education

This conference will take place toward the end of 2010 and has "The Use of Robotics in Education" as its theme. There, the Robotic Education Platform concepts (work package 2) can be exposed to critical scrutiny and discussion together with international experts. A detailed call for papers will be prepared at the beginning of 2010.
