UAS Technikum Vienna

Areas of activity for the partner organisation

With more than 1,000 alumni, more than 2,000 students, 11 bachelor and 16 master's degree courses, Vienna's number one technical university is the largest technical college provider of technical degree courses. The main target for the FH Technikum, Vienna, is to train highly qualified technicians in the new technology sector and to reinforce Austria as an economic location through innovative developments. To this end, great importance is laid on a high quality and practice-oriented education that is guaranteed by almost 300 professors. Due to the close contact to commerce and industry, the students have the best career opportunities. The access of women to technology is particularly encouraged. In addition, the modular studies infrastructure makes the creation of individual study courses possible and promotes life-long learning. The FH Technikum Vienna was founded in 1994 through an initiative of notable companies from the electrical and electronic industries and is a network partner of the Trade Association of the Electrical and Electronic Industry (FEEI).

The role of the organisation in the project
