The Austrian Society for innovative computer sciences (InnoC) is a melting pot for individuals from the most varying professions with one common goal - to encourage a creative approach to new technologies. Important for us are the mutual exchange and the implementation of innovative ideas. Science should be made fun, vivid and understandable. People should be encouraged to get involved, both practically and theoretically, with new technologies in the field of computer science and related sectors. We want to provide low-threshold access to science, research and advanced technology for young technophiles.
The main assignments for InnoC are the organisation and implementation of the robotics competitions in Austria, the operation of the open R&D laboratory in Vienna and cooperation with the summer school. Due to their experience from the previous project, "RobotChallenge 2006" (INTERREG IIIa), InnoC will assume the project management.
