STU Bratislava

Activity of the partner organisation

The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) is a modern educational and scientific institution. Since its founding in 1937, more than 105,000 students have graduated from the university. On average, 16,000 students study annually at the STU. Currently, the university is segmented into six faculties. All faculties offer certified bachelor, master and PhD study positions. The European Credit Transfer system (ECTS) is applied in the faculties in order to promote the mobility of students in the member states of the European Union. In the framework of scientific research, the STU is successfully involved in European Union programmes.

The role of the organisation in the project

The focus of STU in the project is on scientific elements. In particular, the assignments of the organisation comprise a scientific conference, reviews of scientific publications, membership in juries and steering committees. Furthermore, the STU will play an active part in the educational exchange sector. This especially includes the organisation and implementation of cross-border study courses. In addition, the STU works with the other education institutions in the project on the development of the Robotic Education Platform.
